In my opinion communication plays an important role in solving all problems in some form or fashion. When you keep quiet it will create more problems than saying what's on your mind. If Gregor would have informed his father that he was feeling mistreated, he might not have grown unhappy. For instance, when I get mad at my friend it's easier to talk about it and move on than waiting for time so it'll be a big deal and end our friendship.

Talking through issues solves most problems in a good and bad way

Listening is a huge part of the communication process because you never learn by doing all the talking you are just telling and teaching people what you already know. If the Samsa family would have listened to one another then Gregor most likely wouldn't be in the position he is right now. When having a conversation you take turns with the person/people you are talking to. By listening to others you learn new things academically and personally.

By knowing how to communicate with others many of your problems in life will be solved.
