Problem Of Anger And Hate Speech In Public Places

Hate speech is a result of anger, and it is the use of hateful words on the inability of a person or minority. Sometimes this type of speech is used against a race or group, sex orientation, or religion. Hate speech can use through social media like Facebook and Twitter, and Mass media like television and radio. Also, it can happen at any time through in public spaces such as restaurants, school, working areas, and public transportation. Its effect is far-reaching, and it causes psychological effects both the users and the addressee.

In my own life, I experienced many adverse effects of the use of hateful speech several at elementary school. When I was a child, I was learning to read. Reading lectures were a problem for me because I could not read fluency. I have to read in front of two groups classmates one group the same age as me, and another group of older age. Due to there was no teacher to cover more former students, they brought together two students' groups regardless of the difference of age. There was a group of students who began to attack verbally cruel to me because I started to stutter in my reading practice. It was hard for me to support their teasing and insults. When I began to receive these insults with hateful and humiliation words, I was intimate and said nothing. Also, I had to work with them. It was uncomfortable, and I was waiting for class to go home and not listen to them anymore. Due to hurtful comments, I had adverse effects on my behavior. I began to be aggressive and say hateful words and shout aloud with students who attack me.

However, learning ability is different in elementary students. For example, Math class can be a headache for a student group with low learning abilities. They fail to understand even elementary equations. Sometimes they cannot solve the straightforward questions in the examination. Therefore, parents used to say many hateful words for his inability. For me, parents with such a negative attitude and aggressiveness, children always remain in fear, and they dramatically fear Mathematics. Parents feel frustrated because their children cannot learn efficiently. Scream has psychological effects on elementary students. They develop low self-esteem and isolation due to hate speech.

Hate speech can happen anyplace like working areas. In my job, a manager once used hateful speech against co-workers and for making errors. She justifies that she shouts us because we are working slow and we are not efficient. When she was really angry, and she used to say bad words. Some co-workers were really shocked, and they felt intimidated by her. We felt that she tried to us like trash with her hateful words. Her treatment between us like co-workers was too harsh. When she was in charge of the store, we stressed us so much with her insults that we even begin to hate her. She provokes that some co-workers began to respond to her hateful words. The problem is my job is managers like her feel with authority to humiliate to co-workers. She is a work more in the company, but she feels the owner. Her rude behavior was a severe insult to us. This generates that supervisors talk with her because they do not want the problem to expand. She felt untouched, but her bad behavior can do a loose job. Today, she is tried to improve the behavior towards us.

Hate speech can never cause good results. It is really effective in bad ways. It never encourages one to mend his fault. On the other hand, it may cause a feeling of revenge. It hampers one's self-respect. On the other hand, its psychological effect is really bad. Even it may lead one to commit suicide. Hate speech against one community may give birth to communal riots. In addition, people use hate speech when they do not have control over their emotion. Besides some prejudices cause to utter hateful speech. The white people use hateful speech against the black negros as they bear prejudice against each other. Hateful speech against religion is also very harmful. Those who have psychological disorders use this type of speech randomly. So, we should not use hateful speech in anyplace.
