The world is evolving daily, and almost everything is changing, like technology and business settings. However, in as much as everything else has changed, culture has retained the natural settings where the beliefs and traditional practices are still the same, and people are still following them up to this era. Some people have gone to an extent to think that culture and tradition are the same, but in reality, they are very different things. Culture focuses on how people dress and the language they use as well as the law and legislation that binds them, while tradition focuses on ritual practices of the people based on occasional events like wedding ceremonies, family gatherings occasionally, or picking Christmas tree. The purpose of this paper is to give an insight into different cultures individuals face daily in their lives, analyze the importance of culture in the society, how culture affects the business operation, and lastly, the social culture on East Europe as an example.

Cultural analysis is very important and should not be taken as simple as the way people think of it. There is a lot to be learned when it comes to culture, as there are very many ethnicity groups in the world, and each of them has its cultural values and traditional beliefs. It provides the beliefs and values of a certain community, which influences interaction skills when individuals come together (Wildavsky, 2018). Without knowledge of culture on other people’s beliefs and practices, it is like that communication is going to be a problem, and the possibility of getting things done fast would be so low. Culture has huge impact on how leaders in organization making decisions for the business. The analysis also helps people know strengthens and weaknesses of other cultures. The knowledge of the principles helps people to get along with others and make progress during contact with each other (Petersen, Kushwaha, & Kumar, 2015).

Culture is known to influence all aspects of life, wherein this case is the business environment in particular. It influences the creation of a community and the performance of the business organization, where it has a huge impact on innovation and invention. That is because people come together in business settings from different backgrounds, which means different cultural beliefs and values. Therefore, culture touches on people's reactions towards others or something else like behavioral change and thinking mode. It also has a huge impact on consumer reaction towards company products through behavioral change when purchasing items. Wang wrote on Culture in the organization of autobiographical memory (2019). A good scenario is an organization trying to sell pork meat in a Muslim environment. The obvious result is that it is likely to fail with a big percentage because Muslims do not eat pork meat based on their cultural believes and practices.

The study case of Eastern Europe gives a great scenario of cultural analysis. The European culture comprises of many ethnicity groups like the Orthodox, Byzantines, Ottoman, Greek, and Russian. The highest population of East Europe is comprised of the Christians then followed by the other small religions like Hinduism, Buddhism, and Judaism. The country was ruled by the communists for the longest time that results in the division of Europe leading to East and West. Baltic and Slavic tribes were among the earliest ethnic groups in Europe before others came to rise like the Ottoman and Mongol. In relation to culture, every group in Europe has its way of doing things. Russia is a good example where they have their writing style of the Pushkin and Russian food, Slovenia is also unique and best known for being the oldest producers of grapevine (Eberhardt, & Owsinski, 2015).

Europe has been unique compared to other countries, as the majority of the ethnic groups in Europe share distinct features. The culture of Europe is best categorized by Christ and white heritage for both the East and West regions. Romania and Bulgaria rose from the empire heritage, where the rule went for many centuries, where the rule was followed by Turkish rule after the collapse of the empires. During this time and of late, the Catholic Church has been of great influence among the two and still increasing to socialism in the 21st century (Ramet, 2019). The division between West and East Europe might be fading daily and bringing them together, but their difference in views on things still split them apart. Western Europe might be free in welcoming the Jews, gays, and Muslims in their regions but the Eastside is against gays, Jews, and Muslims.

Lastly, cultural beliefs are based on behaviors of the communities on certain things like dressing, talking, and food. The cultural analysis is done to build an environment where people respect and appreciate the culture of others. Culture has a huge impact on the performance of business organizations, and the difference and ignorance in learning other people’s behavior may lead to low performance in the organizations through learning the culture that people can make sound decisions. The difference between the West and East Europe will always be there as long as there is the issue of gays, Jews and Muslims in the country.
