Difference in pay from men cricket players to women cricket players is still an issue to this day. Men and women who are playing the exact same sport with no differences are being payed different amounts each year with women earning much less. It is thought that men should be payed more since the game of cricket was originally only played and introduced by men but majority of Australians disagree. It was only recently that women cricket players payments increased from $7.5 million to $55.2 million. Currently cricket boards are not transparent in relation to the payment of individual male cricket players.

At the moment disabled cricket playing is not played publicly as it is a very complex game with many different actions. Although we haven’t introduced disabled cricket playing there are games that may be played where the batsmen is blind but it isn’t very common. Playing cricket blind uses different techniques and the cricket ball must have some type of sound connected to it so the blind can recognise when its time to swing their bat but this is still a very complicated task.
